MantillaOur range of beautiful lace mantillas are elegant and of the highest quality. These head coverings are made in traditional Leavers lace. Available in black, white and re embroidered black silver, each colour has its own unique design. The black silver mantilla is slightly weightier than the black and white, as the outline of the floral pattern has been retraced with additional embroidery, lending it slightly more structure. The patterns' origins can be found in Venice from the time of the Doge and most famously can be seen as the hanging in Hans Holbein the Younger's 'The Ambassadors'
