1987 Fender Japan STM-65R Series "Medium Scale" HSH Stratocaster (Black)Made by the Fujigen factory in Japan back in 1987. Loaded with a pair of Dimarzio PAF Pro's flanking an unbranded middle single coil and an upgraded Gotoh locking tremolo system.

Frets show very light wear but are shiny and clean and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss

Has a replacement loaded pickguard with what looks to be reasonably high quality alnico single coils and CTS pots

Fret Markers: Dot

with this one featuring an ash body bolted to a maple neck with a 7

The American Performer Stratocaster also features Greasebucket™ tone circuitry and a push-pull tone control which adds the neck pickup in any switch position

delivering the classic humbucker sound for people who don't particularly want or need a Les Paul Standard

The bottom line about this SGJ is that it's a real Gibson solidbody electric guitar
