1981 Maxon BDC-01 Vintage Bass Digital ChorusFrom Maxon's "Zero One" series circa mid to late 80s. Japanese market only, made in Japan. Fantastic original 80's voiced chorus from the digital forefront. Plenty of options for tweaking your tone, great on down tuned guitar as well as bass.

This neck is carved to Gibson's slim-taper '60s profile

This one's been modified internally with a four-way switch wired to control the two unknown Seymour Duncan pickups (with position 2 & 4 switchable between series and parallel using the push/pull switch on the tone pot) along with a pair of PIO caps (one Sprague and one Tone Factory)

with many players in the hard rock and metal community enjoying the extended low range that the extra string provides

It houses both P and J pickups to coax deep bass tones with a rock 'n' roll edge

the new trestle block design also results in the sound having a faster attack with more focus

Has some brand new pots/wiring otherwise appears to be all original

Good used condition as pictured with some signs of wear and tear

allowing for a faster attack time and is more responsive to the playing dynamics
