Leonard, H.L. - "Volstro" Raised Pillar Fly ReelFor sale here is a reel not seen very often. From what I can gather from my research, it was made by Dave Atwood (Volstro) for HL Leonard back in the 1980's. He is said to have built about 200 of these reels but Leonard never took delivery of the reels because they filed for bankruptcy. The reel is suited for a 6DT or 7WF line and will take a lot of backing. The reel is in near mint condition. It also comes with a spare spool in mint condition. Right

The rod comes with a fighting butt and weighs 6 3/4 oz with it attached

but it remains in excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically the drag is still perfect

The vise is fully machined with the best stainless steel and aluminum available

Reel is in mint condition and is set up for right-hand retrieve
