Hardy Palakona "The Fairchild" Bamboo Rod 8' 3/2For sale here is a scarce Hardy Palakona "The Fairchild" bamboo rod. Eight feet, three sections with two tips, for a five weight line. The rod is completely original and in excellent+ condition. All sections are full length and straight. Green silks with full intermediates. Aluminum cap and ring over all cork reel seat. There's a "0" stamped into both males and the female ferrule. Serial number H8670 made in 1956. Weighs 3. 85 oz. Complete with
The ferrules are 11/64 and 14/64 and the ferrule fit is excellent
The hardware is oxodized black and the reelseat spacer is a lovely piece of bird's eye maple
primarily some hand soiling of the grip

The Duronze ferrules have a great fit
The owner's name is scratched into the bottom of the reel foot
The box remains in excellent used condition
