The rod weighs 3 7 8 oz and is marked 4 oz. on the hang tag. Up locking reel seat over the standard spanish cedar spacer. A classic Jim Payne rod with the "Made for Abercrombie & Fitch Co." die stamp on the up locking ring, along with the Payne die stamp. The grip is western style and has a bit
