Includes bronze and cork ferrule plug
This a very desirable example of the classic Leonard bimetal reel
The rod is in excellent+ original condition with the exception of one ferrule being re-wrapped by Bob Summers
Serial #4127
There are a couple of small casting flaws (as commonly seen with early alloys) in the frame and a small flea-bite on the foot – possibly due to a casting flaw as well
though it is possible the repaired tip may have also been re-wrapped
A difficult to find size Bogdan reel and worthy of getting back on the river soon
