Orvis Battenkill 8' 2/2 6wt Bamboo RodFor sale here is a 8' impregnated Orvis Battenkill bamboo rod. 4 1 4 oz. Medium to medium fast action. Size 13 64 ferrules. Serial #43059 built in 1966. The rod is in excellent original condition. Original gray bag and tube with a small remnant of the original label present.
as well as making the rod very durable
100 fly reel - made in San Francisco in the late 40's and 50's
I would call it a medium fast 4 wt and prefer it as a fully-loading parabolic 5 wt
but there are a couple of minor marks on the rims
