Original and un filed smooth alloy foot. Dup MKII check is strong tensioner works perfectly. Paint loss to the finish exists throughout, but no chips, dings, or cracks.

the rod balances very well in the hand
which is difficult to photograph and doesn't affect the reel's performance
The fittings and straps on the tube remain in excellent condition free of tears etc
