Chinese TheatreI remember this being the place I looked forward to seeing the most when I arrived in LA for the very first time. I mean its the Chinese Theatre, its been a part of movie history for as long as anyone can remember. Its the ultimate tourist spot in LA, and I was, after all, a tourist. While the building itself lived up to the hype, it was my first time truly being away from home, and the chaotic nature of the Walk of Fame very quickly overwhelmed me.

The Ennis House is my favourite Frank Lloyd Wright design in Los Angeles

It’s the kind of architecture that looks futuristic and nostalgic at the same time

There are so many beautiful homes like this to admire

This print is of the Samuel Freeman House

this location still has the original Speedee mascot on site and even uses the original packaging

and the musicians were just unbelievable

and this one in Los Feliz immediately won me over when I saw it in person

attempting to draw a detailed and deeply personal space like the Eames House was a challenge for me

and he was genuinely delighted that I’d made a print of the Aero

It reminded me why I do all this in the first place
