Thomas and Thomas Classic Bamboo Rod 8' 2/2 #5For sale here is a Thomas and Thomas (T&T) Classic bamboo rod 8' 2 2 5wt. Rod is in excellent+ condition. Impregnated finish. Early serial number #3301 dates the rod to approximately 1978 after Tom Maxwell's departure. This rod is all original. All sections are full length. One tip has a very slight fishing set. Down locking reel seat over a walnut spacer and sliding ring engraved pocket cap. The spacer has a very small gouge as shown in the photos.

The reel features a Bickerdyke-style line guard

Cigar style grip 7" in length with only mild soiling

The reel has an adjustable drag and click and the five detent arrowhead pointer drag feature with red dot indicators
